About Us
The Molinetto estate is located in Francavilla Bisio, in the south-eastern part of Piedmont and it was founded by the father Matteo and the uncle Domenico with their great love for the land and their tireless work.
Despite his different professional backgrounds Diego decided to continue his father's work so that he will be able to honor his father memory and to value his teaching.
In October 2008, Diego left his job as "Engineer" to be a full-time "Winemaker" with the same commitment and passion of his father.
On the slopes of the "Beneficio" of Francavilla Bisio and on those of the "Cavallari" of Tassarolo the estate has six hectares of vineyards, all in Cortese grapes, for the production of "Gavi DOCG" wine.
With the 2010 harvest the first bottle of Molinetto Carrea wine appeared in the market. This wine is an expression of the soil, land and historic vineyards of the Gavi region - I hope that you enjoy it.
